Raices Profundas in San Francisco
I fell in love with dance. It became my life for years. there is something about dancing barefoot next to drums that awakens something powerful within. I will always be thankful to my dance teacher, Susana Pedroso who helped open that door.
when Her master teacher Juan De Dios Ramos Morejon, came to San Francisco with his group Raices Profundas, I was honored to have a chance to photograph them backstage.
Raices Profundas debuted at the San Francisco International Arts Festival and was hosted by Plaza Cuba.
